    UTF-8


      It is 2007 and we live in a multi-language world. Should not UTF-8 be built-in?

      Without UTF-8 support, baseportal is useless to me. My mother tongue is English and many languages are spoken in Israel. One cannot write Hebrew names in Roman.

      I inserted a MetaData tag into the Page Design to display the records in UTF-8 format and it works with one problem, it seems as though those Pages are public and do not require one to log on with a password. My database contains confidential information and I require users to use access passwords.

      In other words I have not made any progress.
