"Every soldier must know, before he goes into battle, how the little battle he is to fight fits into the larger picture, and how the success of his fighting will influence the battle as a whole"
Field Marshal Bernard Montgomery

FoxthrotAxis Denied Knights CrossIt is difficult to single out performance in an attack that lasted almost 12 hours. That said, I did observe a number of Allied soldiers that tenaciously held onto key positions on the Air Field, AB Bunkers, and key CP's. With that, I am pleased to award the Axis Denied Officers Cross to the following individuals that did the tough duty for many many hours.

MynickCombat Merit Corps RecognitionGrevenbroich - Mynick managed to avoid the enemy and slipped into the bunker killing the bunker defenders and capping the AB in this critical town60
SsgkevAttack OiCAfter a couple of failed attacks during early US Prime, it was critical that we not be denied at Grevenbroich. We had to get some momentum going. Ssgkev stepped up and offered to OIC our attack at Greven. He provided great comms and direction throughout the attack and largely contributed to the team staying on target and getting it done. Ssgkev is an officer candidate currently in training for HC. He's clearly showing some of the vets how to get it done. For his efforts I am pleased to award Ssgkev the Attack OIC Badge.

ANZACMeritorious Unit CommendationWhat began as a factory raid in Koln resulted in Koln becoming Allied. While attempting to destroy Axis factories, an attack objective was issued on Koln. We decided to cap the factory we were already sapping and several members of the Anzacs rushed to secure the EAB and Oplade CP in Koln. Within a short time the entire East side of Koln was Allied and set off a battle that lasted for hours and eventually an Allied liberation of Koln.60
TwainGround Transport RibbonOver the last 2 weeks,AHC has been working closely with individuals and squads to get certain jobs done and tasks accomplished in a timely mannor with maximum effect. I would like to take this chance and present a few soldiers the following awards. As was posted by an Axis officer in the barracks, everyone has an impact on this game and you dont really realise until you do something that you know has an impact on the outcome of a town or an FB defence etc. Often the small things are the biggest things and have the biggest impact60

Continuosly bringing the pain with back and forth trips from Kerpen to the two targeted ABs. A big salute goes out to the fighters who keep the LW off of these flying boats during transit. 60
