This is due to formation of HCL form the water and Chloride of that is found in the Aluminum Chloride. This can be treated and blocked by the use of mild hydrocortisone such as Alfacort cream. This need to be used before considering failure of treatment of this wonderfull product. The irritation that happen is irritant contact dermatitis, it is not allergic contact dermatitis.
