| Exam Center: | Philadelphia | Exam Date: | 28.April.2008 | Result: | Passed | Weeks for Result: | 6 | My Experience: | So I only had a short time to prepare so I although I paid for usmleworld, I never touched it and lost out on that money. I actually preferred First Aid and this was my ONLY source. Well that and this website. I was a bit nervous. I got into the room and tried to smile and relax while talking to the patients. I remembered to wash hands at all stations and I did a auscultation of chest ( cvs and Resp) on ALL patients. I also did an abdominal exam on all patients. Kept it brief.
Time FLIES during the exam.... and the patients never give you any info unless you ask. You still have to ask open ended questions though...although the responses were very short and non helpful.
| My Advice & My Errors: | Stick to FA's format. Always remember to wash hands and show concern for patients problem. Always remember to drape them.... and remember you are human so there is room for error when you're being graded. You'll do fine. | My Stay / Cost / Travel to Center: | | Name : | Virbra77 MD |
