| Exam Center: | Philadelphia | Exam Date: | 24.June.2008 | Result: | Passed | Weeks for Result: | 6 | My Experience: | Was nervous at first, but when my 1st encounter started, all focus was to the patient. The 15 mins was more than enough to complete the history and PE (I let the chief complaint guide me in what to ask on the history and what to perform during the PE). I found one of the cases really hard, I wasnt sure of my differentials and I wasnt able to complete my PE...but I kept my composure, just thought of it as an experimental case and moved on to the next patient. | My Advice & My Errors: | Show the patients that you care but at the same time be confident with yourself. Manage your time, you dont have to ask everything while getting the history, at the same time you dont have to perform a complete PE...just what is needed to support your differential diagnosis. | My Stay / Cost / Travel to Center: | I stayed w/ a friend in Hershey, I took a cab ($22) to reach Harrisburg train station, the (2hrs)train ride to Philadelphia was around ($21). From the train station I walked (around 15mins) to the testing site. :-) | Name : | Ross |
