Exam Center: Philadelphia Exam Date: 13.July.2006 Result: Passed Weeks for Result: 6 My Experience: i just want to mention the mistakes i did and i wouldnt want any1 to repeat them.i could not finish the exam or conclude my cns case.i wasted 2 mins on mini mental exam by asking silly qs...wish i rather examined...if the patient is talking sense n explaining u everything y would u need a mini mental exam?most people i know could not finish cns case...my advice is plz practsi cns exam well n do it really fast just quik senses n motor n reflexes first n if time then quik nerve exam n start counselling....no need for detailed cerebellar signs and all that....also pay attention to the ortho cases like ram pain,shoulder n knee pain coz u will surely get one...n i wasnt too confident about examining them.i also got 1 lab report case which i was not even aware of so read up on what to do...just be comforting to the patient with a sweet smile,sympathetic tone and reassuring body language and always make transition statements. DONT BE NERVOUS.....NOTHING BEATS A CONFIDENT ATTITUDE. My Advice & My Errors: as above My Stay / Cost / Travel to Center: same as above Name : shweta
