Exam Center: Atlanta Exam Date: 1.February.2007 Result: Passed Weeks for Result: 8 My Experience: exam center is v good. staff was v cooperative.i was a little nervous but felt ok after some encounters. My Advice & My Errors: i wore gloves as i had hand rash. but gloves were not placed in the right boxes as their sizes and i had problems putting em on coz' med size gloves were in large size boxes in many rooms. practiced cases with a friend who also had exam same day and that really helped. dont loose ur cool and even if u get confused, stick to the general format for every pt and u ll do ok.food was also good. just dont get nervous as i also did blunders but passed. practice as much as u can with a partner. i forgot to take bp in a htn case. also do practice of pt notes. get 50 copies of the sample blank page from kaplan cs book and use for pt note practice in 10 mins. trust me it helped. do cases in 25 mins each and see the difference in your prep. also write a rough d/d on page before knocking at the door in exam. just take a minute and prepare urself before entering the room. be confident and act good, better than the sp, at least thats what i did. My Stay / Cost / Travel to Center: Stayed with family but noticed many nice and cheap hotels at a 5 min walk from the exam center so don't worry. Name : paki doc
