| Exam Center: | Chicago | Exam Date: | 15.May.2009 | Result: | Waiting | Weeks for Result: | | My Experience: | I had a good time at the Chicago center, the people out there were so cooperative and professional. I enjoyed the lunch they provided. I made sure for every encounter I walked in smiling in my mind, introduced myself and confirmed the patient's name. I first asked them if they were okay with the room setting and told them I wanted to make them a little bit comfortable by draping them. Then either asked them how I could be of service or at time I told them I was told that they were here for """" reason. I counseled the moment they told me they drank or smoked in order not to forget to do this. I got their permission before my PE and sort of explained everything I was doing for example (listening for carotid bruits- I said I will be listening to the artery in your neck now). After my examination I summarized what they told me and gave them my impression. At times I asked them if they had anything to tell me that could help me figure out what was going on with them. Then I asked them if they had any questions for me. | My Advice & My Errors: | Try not to panic, be friendly, and just imagine they are real patients. Be extra nice to them and show empathy ( a couple of them thanked me for showing empathy). | My Stay / Cost / Travel to Center: | Leave in Chicago | Name : | Suaveman |
