Exam Center: Houston Exam Date: 31.May.2007 Result: Waiting Weeks for Result:   My Experience: I had a great experience in Houston centre..the cases were straight forward n ezier than UW ..i completed everything b4 the time was up..the SPs were fine..except one old lady who didnt look comfortable with the chest exam in sitting position..i used gloves for all encounters n told the Sps tht my hands get cold n i dotn want to give u discomfort, n they looked fine with it..the good ones will ask their question while ur washing hands/wearing gloves, the others will throw the question at u when ur taking history, trying to make u forget wht u were asking them...but some r real nice...they may tell u something tht u forgot to ask urself..like i forgot to take family histroy frm one pt..n when i ws giving her D/D to her...she told me herself...tht my mom had high BP n bro had stroke ..so i ws ...(thanks...in my heart!) My Advice & My Errors: be very very courteous...i think thts the most imp thing,,my errors: once i asked a question with my head down n writing..n the SP said a lil rudely...EXCUSE ME? i appologised rite away n then maintained eye contact...n i also forgot to take the leg rest out when the pt lie down, n they had to ask my "doc plz take the leg rest out" n i said sorry again n did so (felt very bad n silly) n once i forgot to counsel a pt..her grandma had Ca brest , i asked her do u do breast exams..she said no.,..n i forgot to tell her in counseling tht she should..
