| | Exam Center: | Houston | | Exam Date: | 27.February.2008 | | Result: | Passed | | Weeks for Result: | 11 | | My Experience: | It took a lot of time for the result to be out but all is well that ends well.I really thought that I wouldn't be able to make through but to my delight I passed. | | My Advice & My Errors: | I would suggest that its more important to complete each encounter properly rather than asking too many unneccessary questions and doing a elaborate physical exam and not being able to give a proper closure to the encounter.Its better to touch on each of the aspects of the history and do a suferficial PE rather than dwelling deep into any single aspect and loosing out time for the other aspects. | | My Stay / Cost / Travel to Center: | I did 3 clerkships at three different institutions along with the CS (before I appeared for the CS)and so I had to stay for a few months and did a lot of travelling.Its costed me 3 lakhs in whole but I think it would be much cheaper for anyone who just plans to appear for the CS exam,maybe 1.5 lakhs will be good enough for the exam including the exam fee and the airfare. | | Name : | Tuhin Banerjee |
