Exam Center: Houston Exam Date: 22.April.2009 Result: Waiting Weeks for Result:   My Experience: The proctors were strict, with even the smallest of things, but they were extremely professional and efficient. By smallest of things I mean things like testing your pens during the orientation on the sheets provided for the pt encounters. Someone got scolded for that. You know, "this is your first warning, etc". Nobody needs that kind of thing RIGHT before starting the block. The testing center was office-like and nice, clean and functional. We were organized into the 2 groups, Red and Blue, and herded into the testing area. The breaks were also handled well. They gave us chicken enchiladas, salad, cold cuts, brownies and fruit. The testing itself went without a hitch. Some guy said something to another examinee at some point in the hallway or looked like he was saying something and a proctor was on him like a drill sergeant. Another 1st warning. That was it, though. Nobody got kicked out. No problems. Good times. My Advice & My Errors: Don't talk to anyone. Throughout. It'll prevent any risk of talking during the examination. It wasn't that easy for me, as I usually become Mr. Small-Talk, but it worked. Someone ELSE was Mr. Small-Talk. He almost got me on the line for the bathroom. You know, questions about where I'm from and what I do. Ick. Fortunately a bathroom freed up right before I felt he was about to pounce. Whew.
