Exam Center: Los Angeles Exam Date: 28.July.2007 Result: Passed Weeks for Result: 10 My Experience: I went to exam hall 30 mts lte.But no problem u wont miss anything.They ll be playing the videos given in USMLE orientation CD !But they ll ask us to sign on a paper that they ppl r not responsible for my lack of knowledge or failed 'coz of coming late n missing the orientation session.The food is good at this centre.The SPs at this centre r quiet friendly.out of 12,6 ppl r friendly with me.But the proctors r lil bit hurrying and rude n they don hesitate to say this is the 1st warning to u n this is the Nth warning to u!But that shudnt hurt u!The time factor is the most imp thing if i have to say n as soon as u enter the room u ll hear the announcement There r 5 min left on this case ! u ll get shocked as u ll be in the middle of PAMHUGS...but u shud learn frm the mistakes.I ve forgotten to drape the 1st 2 cases but the 3rd one gave a hint looking at the drape :-) My English is not good but i managed through it.Just speak clearly n slowly.Go to exam with confidence.Dont focus on Diagnosis.no one expect u to diagnose the case.Dont forget to counsel the patient.Stay prepared well b4 entering room write down codes on ur pad b4 entering room.Thats all folks ! Once again Time management is the most imp one My Advice & My Errors: Time management, Forget to drape to 1st 2 patients,Unable to complete the 1st case,Little physical examination(but thats not that imp i think) My Stay / Cost / Travel to Center: Stayed at totally new frnd whom i asked for help.He helped me throughout my stay at his room.His name is Raghu His room is just 8miles frm exam centre Name : Dr Pavan Kumar Bhamidipati
