Exam Center: Houston Exam Date: 1.May.2006 Result: Passed Weeks for Result: 7 weeks My Experience: It was on the whole a good experience with 17 cases, cases were all very regular, as we read in First Aid & USMLE world subscription. My Advice & My Errors: I'll advice to practice more of counselling & Enact the whole encounter with a partner before the exam at least 10-20 times, or until You are confident, especially IMG's. Practice writing PN's loads of times. Its an exam where any one can fail or anyone can pass, it doesn't judge ur merit as such, but judges, presence of mind,& communication skills. My one errors was 1. I was asked in the phone case by a worried mother that shall I give her vitamin pills before getting to doctor, I said yes. As I didnt think smartly before speaking, although I convinced her to bring the child here to see me, before panicking! But remember, however the exam goes at the end you'll never feel satisfied. So its ok. after the exam CHILL!! My Stay / Cost / Travel to Center: I stayed at days Inn, at the cost of 50$/night for 2 nights, its pretty comfortable & they drop u at the exam center on time, also the place is near airport so they pick u too from there.
