I have no desire to build a foundation elsewhere. However, I have a very strong desire to improve where I am for the hope of creating a better situation for the young African Americans growing up today who have no clue what their struggle is all about. There is a strong lack of cultural awareness in the youngsters today. They think that the street violence is and gang scene is what defines their existence. WRONG. Why is it that youth today have no sense of value or morals. They don't even know the intensity of the struggle that African Americans before them had to bear. Why is it that society has us running around so much that we don't have time to TRULY educate our children. Let them know what their rights are and let them know how this american system will rape them of it if we do not provide them with the knowledge and self-respect that they deserve. We are letting this racist, greedy town, destroy our brothers to the point that they don't even give a damn. I don't know about you, but as an African American Sistuh, I need a African American brotha to be whole. Anythingelse, would be uncivilized. Yeah, Pittsburgh is a racist town. But African American Pittsburghers have continually endured so much, we actually have the power, to end. My question is ; WHY DON'T WE?? Peace
